My ideal job: Indiana Jones

Well I have dreamed about my favourite job since I was little and I passed trought many options; doctor, nurse, architect, astronaut, actress but here I am studying to become an archeologist.
It's curios becouse before entering to the university I had the image of an archeologist more like an indiana jones type, running away from cannibals triying to find a lost civilization all that in a tropical island. But going back to reality I would like to develop the archeology here in chile o maybe in Perú specifically in the North, becouse I have special interest in cultures like moche and chimú. There's a lot of unexplored material there and It would be interest to find something new. Also I would like to teach here a the University becouse I think It's a good way to develop investigations and proyects.
I think the first option is a little bit difficult but not impossible, but I see the second one more near I just need to be an excelent student and work very hard.

My favourite subject

Well... really, I don't have a favourite subject
But I think that the one that I liked more was archeology.
Archeology is teached during the first year of our carrer (Antropology) and the professor who is in charge of the course is Isabel Cartagena, she is very good at teaching and also has a great sense of humor.
Well Archeology, in general, is a discipline that studies societies througth their material remains the principal objetive of the studies is to understand people's social organization, production, relationships, forms of art, and many others cultural aspects.

I think that i liked the course becouse archeology has something very special almost magical; when you find something that was covered for many many years you can understand multiple forms of live usually very diferent from ours. Also the past can help us to understand in a better way our culture. That is something that you cannot find in any other dicipline.
